Can anyone tell me how I can set the crisis alert to notify to a blackberry? CM 3.03 and a octel voicemail system.

Thanks in advance

I'm not how you would accomplish this seeing as that Crisis-Alert is an administered button on a station.

I understand that. was wondering if there is any way to have the system notify a cell phone as well.

Have you played around with the Alert Pager setting on the change system-parameters crisis-alert screen?

I haven't used this personally, but it might work...

Thanks,

that would work 98Converter. you could do something crazy like have it dial out to a DID that is on your PBX to an exported station that would remote cover to the cell phone. seeing the specific DID on the cell phone would alert the OP that there was a crisis alert.

I went to the crisis alert system parameters and it looks like I can only have 3 pager/phones notified. Is there a way to do any more?

Actually, it's not all that crazy. Put the cell phone numbers in the field reserved for the pager numbers. Use the Public-Unknown-Numbering table to assign a unique 10-digit phone number to your phantom extension that is assigned to your Crisis Alert setup (I use 911-911-0911).

Answered crisis alert calls will hear the beep beep beep of the additional pager digits, but they can be ignored. It's the actual notification call that's important. Of course, you're still limited to three pager/cell notification, which stinks.

Thanks to all. you have made my day.

Is there anyway to let the responders know where the issue is instead of just that there has been a call placed?
