Hello.
I have veritas backupexec 9.1 installed on my 2k member server. When trying to create a job, I cannot gain access to the exchange mailbox or public folders on our exchange server. It will not accept my login credentials. Our network has a backup account which also has privileges to exchange 2003. The exchange agent IS installed on Backupexec. I've also tried the exchange service account and it will not accept that either. I know the exchange service account and backup account are good because I've logged on to exchange 2003 with those account and I can view and modify mailboxes. Has anyone encountered this problem before? Any help will be appreciated.

In Active directory is the "backup account" hidded from the Global Address list? If so, unhide it and cycle the remote agent service on the exchange server and see what happens.
