Hi, my name is SPC John Walters, and I am in Camp Doha Kuwait. I have a requirement to create an access database that can be updated and searched... but I need it yesterday, and I don't have the time or facilities to learn it. I am very familier with Excel, but have never used Access (97). I have a list (1 column, approx 1000 values) that I need to search against. It is a list of 9-digit values. I call that the 'Master' list. I get a request for information that has a list just like the master (same type of data) and need to rapidly be able to search for data that is in both lists. For example, I have the Master List, then I have RFIlist 1, 2, 3, say ten of them. Some of the values in 1 are also in the master, and I need to be able to identify those values. Then I would know what needed to be added to the master list, as well as I can use the same type of query to search for the number of duplicates in 1, 2, and 3 to form priority.

I know this is somewhat vague, but any suggestions on how to search for these duplicate values would be VERY helpful to the united states army,

Thank you
