Hi All

I have a very simple report that occupies one page, and is written in the Report Header.

Very simply; I need this report to repeat over four pages, with the only difference with each page being that they have a different footer, e.g. File Copy, Client Copy, Duplicate Client, Accounts. Is there an easy way to do this!? Unfortunately I do not have anything in the database to base a formula on. I'm using V8.5.

Your assistance would be gratefully received.
Thanks
PJ

In Crystal 8.5, you can test pagenumber = 1 etc. You could use this test in a formula field that would show the different values. Or have four alternate page footers, the first suppressed when pagenumber <> 1 etc.

Thanks Madawc

This would be fine if the report already spanned 4 pages (unless I'm misunderstanding you!?), the problem I have is that the report only covers 1 page, so what I actually need is a way to make the report cover four pages, then I can apply the a footer to each using Pagenumber.

As an example; the report is an invoice, of which I need four exact copies but with different footers (printing it four times is looking to be the easiest option!). If I had something in the database that has four entries per Invoice number I could then use this in a formula, but unfortunately I don't. I'm not sure this is possible?

Thanks
PJ

A client of mine did something like this with their invoice by creating 4 separate report headers - with each header's height being the height of the paper they're printing to - and essentially recreating the report on all 4 headers.

So simple it's genius! Thanks to you both for the ideas. Sorted! I created 4 headers A, B, C, D, all A4 page height and repeated the Invoice 4 times, so the 'footer' is effectively different at the bottom of each header!

Thanks again
PJ.
