How does one create a query in Access that uses as criteria a value inputed by the user at the time the query is run?

When you are in design mode, go to the column that lists the field you are basing your user input on, and in the criteria row enter:
Code:
[Enter Value]
Where "Enter Value" is whatever text you want to prompt the user with.

Dan.
