Creating Objects-- createObject()

Hello,
I am trying to create an object of Outlook Express.
But it is not happening, saying class definition is not found. What could be the problem. The same thing is working with 'outlook'.

objMail =createObject("msimn.application")

Hope someone will give a hint.

Unlike Outlook, Outlook Express in not an automation server so you will not be able to create an object from it.

As Chris said, you cannot automate Outlook Express. You can, however, use MAPI to send and receive e-mail if Outlook Express is your e-mail client.

You can also use CDO for Windows 2000 to send e-mail using SMTP if you have access to an e-mail server either locally or on the net.
