Hi

I am trying to create a label in Crystal version 8.

I have linked through SQl and have the link okay. what I want is to create a whole sheet of labels 2 columns by 7 (14 for each sheet).

They are order rows and will go on articles related to each order row, I have grouped and forced new page, again this works. My only problem is to make all labels populate not just one label per sheet.

Any ideas how I can achieve this.

Thanks in advance

Right click the detail section, and select the format with multiple columns option. A new Layout tab will appear letting you control sozing and layout.

Hi

Sorry I cannot see this option for Multiple Columns anywhere. Any ideas.

Thanks

Hi Again

I merged the details and now have format with multiple columns, this is greyed out, but appears to have a tick in.

The labels are still single (only one on each page), but have layout of 2 columns and 7

Really confused, any ideas.

Thanks

You need to access the section Expert, This can be found as Ido said by Right click the detail section or on the Report Menu -> Section Expert and select the details section.

The option Format with Multiple columns is available near the bottom and once selected a new Layou tab will appear.

I have grouped and forced new page

Is the page break on the group footer ?
Make sure this is removed.

Hi

I have grouped and have the following ticked Frre Form, Suppress, New Page After and Keep together.

Nothing is ticked in the footer details.

What sections do you have in your report, which section has new page after selected ? Try removing this and see what happens.

Hi Gary

Thanks for you help

I have these sections

Report Header (greyed out no detail)
Page Header (greyed out no detail)
Group header (surpressed) this is where I had new page before ticked, however, when I untick it I get the same. both labels on page 1 and 2 but just one label.
Details
Group Footer (greyed out no detail)
Report Footer (greyed out no detail)
Page Footer (greyed out no detail)

Why is the details , Multiple column option greyed out?

Thanks again
