Firstly setup a zone for helpdesk.tar on your DNS server once you have done this setup a pointer(host) for www, suppling the IP of your webserver or setup a alais(cname) pointing to the name of the webserver.

Once you have done that setup the website in IIS with the header as point the site to the /help/ directory on the server.

You will have to add logon.asp under Documents on the website properties as 1 of the default contents pages.

I have setup the zone but could you give me a little more detail on the rest of the process thanks

DNS

Once you have setup the zone goto that zone on your dns server right click the zone and goto "New Host (A)..." under the name box put " then enter the IP of your webserver in the IP box. Then click add host. Now when people type they will get sent to your webserver.

IIS

Goto IIS, Right click your site that you want to use as and goto properties. Then goto documents and add login.asp to default contents page. Then goto the Website tab and click on Advanced, click the default connection and then click edit. In the host header value put Then click Ok. Next goto the home directory tab and make sure local path is pointing to the help folder on your webserver.

Hope this helps you
