Hi all,

is it possible to create custom forms in any shape and layout? I know that there were written tools that made it possible for visual basic 6.0 but could not find anything for Foxpro 7.0

Thanks in advance,

greetings Gandalf

It depends what you mean by that. Like round forms? or Triangular forms? Or regular form (rectangular). And what do you mean by layout? Mike Gagnon

Not directly in 7.0, but there is sample code around for changing the shape of a form in it's initialization code. (It uses the WinAPI functions CreateEllipticRgn() and SetWindowRgn().)

Also on the UT, someone has provided a "Skins" class for some interesting forms.

However, it appears to be fully implemented in VFP 8.0 - you can download the public beta, or you'll have to wait a while for the real release.

Mgagnon,

round (elipse) or triangular will do for me. As a result of rgbean's post I found an article here on tektips on how to make round forms.

I found it less likely that it has been limited to a very small amount of shapes. But yes, you can't have it all ;)

Thanks for the help anyway.

How dou you define interesting forms?
