Creating an auto-attendant on MiVB 10.3 (no NuPoint) 2

Would like to create a number of auto-attendant menus, but really confused how this works. I watched (
) to get something going, but this still doesn't make sense. What is the point of the form "VM Call Flow Administration"? This seems to be a more modern way of creating a menu with options, but I can't seem to get this to work. Does anyone have any documentation on this besides the help menu?

What controller are you running?
If you're using an EX controller or Virtual Controller, you can use Call Flow which is super simple to use and is very different than the video you posted. This call flow is similar to that of the NuPoint.

It starts with:
When I receive a call.

If you're using a CX or MXe controller, you'll be limited to the legacy setup - similar to that of the video. What the video isn't showing is the actual mailbox setup, and requires the mailbox to be setup as a menu node mailbox. Otherwise the mailbox doesn't show up in that form.
Each entry used must refer to an existing mailbox.

Using virtual MiVB.

Okay that's great news, I was hoping somehow that played into making this work. I didn't realize you could click on the call flow icon to the left of the mailbox extension to bring up the call flow diagram. Once you've created a menu, how can I call into it internally to make sure it works right? Do you have to front end this with something like a hunt group??

Use a trusted extension and call reroute it always to voicemail.

Two things to remember

1) to tick the activate call flow option in the call flow.

2) enable transfer to any number in the voicemail option settings

@Valamagules It looks like the trusted extension *does not* consume any license is that correct? Just thinking don't want to burn up a license if it can be helped.

Thanks! Ya'll are gonna turn this ShoreTel engineer into a Mitel engineer in no time LOL.
