I am counting two columns, Active & Inactive. I am grouping by each, I would like to create a % of Active, but am unable to. I just switched to Crystal 8.0.

I use to be able to do the following:

Active%(Active+Inactive) = %

This no longer works, comes back zero. Am sure this is rather easy, any help is greatly appreciated.

Try it the old fashioned way:

active / ((active+inactive)/100)

With respect to BFAGG, a 'safer' version of BFAGGs formula is:

if (active+inactive)=0 then 0 else
((active * 100) / (active+inactive))/100

only because of potential for losing decimal place accuracy by dividing first.
