Creating a Windows 2000 BOOTABLE CD

Hi,

I want to take my Windows 2000 CD and add more software on it. My problem is that I do not know how to do that.
I have NTI, Nero, Roxio to burn a cd.
I want the CD to be bootable (w2k) so that I can use it as a recovery, but also want to add more software on top of it.
When I define a bootable CD in the burn software, it prompts me to enter a floppy, and I enter the DISK 1 for W2K, but then, when I actually use it, it prompts me to enter disk # 2,.. which is not what I need, I need it to run the setup and load all the files directly from the CD, just like the original W2K cd does.
How do I direct the CD to load like W2K with all the drivers?

WK2 requires 4 emergency boot disks. Why would you want to lay more files than onto the operating system disc?

If you are trying to copy the installation disk to use as a backup, your cd software should be able to copy an entire CD. IF you only copy files you highlight it is likely you are missing a bunch of hidden files. The CD software should attend to this automatically. Put the original CD Drive in your CD-ROM and the blank disc in your RW-CD drive and tell the software to make a complete copy. Of course, this will create another copy of the original disk and not an emergency rescue disk. Mahalo,

Well., the ultimate purpose of this would be for me to have a W2K CD, bootable, and Extra Software. W2K is less than 400MB, and I have 'critical' software that I like to have handy, such as WinZip, PartitionMagic, Norton Anti-Virus etc etc,.
Duplicating the CD is not a problem,.. but I want to utilize the additional 300+MB that I have and add software to the CD. So instead of moving around with 2 or 3 CD's I'll carry one fantastic super CD. .
The question is, what are the hidden files that I need or how do I make a duplicate CD, yet able to add more sessions. - cause when you do a duplicate CD.. it closes the CD.

What you need to do is first make sure that your system shows all hidden files... then using your burning software, use the Ctrl-A keystroke to copy all files... drag them into the area to add to the cd... then do the same for all the extra files you wish to add... then create the cd...
