We have a 2000 domain, called "A". I want to set up a test domain to test Microsoft's CRM product.
On the "A" domain we have a PDC with Active Directory, BDC, Exchange server 2000. Also several instances of SQL2000
In the test domain, I want to setup a PDC, Exchange Server and a CRM server to run that software.
My question is...
I may eventually want to merge/add/link(trust) this test domain into my "A" domain. The idea is we may use the CRM package for ourselves and why set it up 2x.
What is the best way to do this?
Create a new domain that is totally unique and I can set up a trust later?
Create a second domain as a (tree?) and name it CRM."A".
Or what? Any help would be appreciated, any directions to related articles or white papers would be appreciated as well.
