it's been a while since I used Access. I created a report that just had all the table fields on it. It reports on the entire table. Now I want to add prompts. I seem to recall that you can't add the prompts to the report but rather you add them in the query and then tie the report to the query? Can someone please confirm?

Access query forum - forum701;-)

Else confirmed - in the query, in the criteria row for the field in question, just enter

[tt][Enter blah][/tt]

with the brackets, then you'll get one of those thingies

But most would probably rather pick the values from forms, in stead.
