Working with Dreamweaver CS3...

I am creating a web style, auto start cd-rom that amongst other things contains a large collection of PDF files.

On the contents page of this cd-rom I want to list the names of the PDF files. Beside the name of each file in the list I would like to have a 'print' button (or image) that the user can click on to print the PDF directly without having to open it first.

Is this possible with Dreamweaver, if so could someone point me in the right direction please?

Thanks in advance.

not really, but you could:
1. let users know to "Right-Click on link --> Print Target"
2. create a page per file that will hold each pdf document and in this page use:
<body onload="javascript:window.print();">
All the best!

many thanks for the input lebisol...

I opted for an active link to open the PDF in the end, it also solved a later problem of how the user would specify multiple prints [smile]

there you go, sometimes you just have to hand them the pencil and say "it works in space as well" :)
good call.
All the best!
