I am trying to use createuser.vbs from the Resource Kit to add a list of users to our Domain.
The command i am using is cscript createusers.vbs ldap://OU=useraccounts,DC=domainame,DC=domain,DC=com /c:users to point it to a text file with the users.
Its gives me a return
Working...
The provider ldap is not supported.
Has anyone else had this problem and if so, can you help me out?

So I found my original problem here was that LDAP is case sensitive. I now am stuck at another spot.
Using createusers.vbs I am pointing it to a txt file for testing adding the users. The error I am getting is "the samaccountname of the user is not provided". In the text file I have "cn:script2.test samAccountName:script2.test password:scr123" Is this not the right format for the text file? If I put in from a command line LDAP://ADSpath cn:script2.test samaccountname:script2.test password:ste123
the account is created with no problems. Can anyone see why the text file is not working? I have 100 users to add that I have put in a similar text file.

when piping to a text file try this in the command line:

You will need the ">" sign. It tells NT/2000 to output the script operations to the text file..

">c:\temp\script2.test"

Thanks for the reply but the script operations are not pushing the results to a text file, the script is getting it's info from the text file so that not all the users have to be input from the command line.
