Create Update

Can someone point me to an article on how to create an update for a VB Program that is already created. I don't even know if it can be done or not, but I've searched Google for an hour or so now.

I need to change one form and don't really want to have to un-install the program and re-install it. It's really no problem to do that, but I would think there would be a way around that.

Generally you should just be able to replace the current exe file with the new exe file.

I did continue to search after posting this though. I came up with a program called "PatchWise". I was searching for "create update", then I started searching "make patch".

I replaced the exe file and the program does work like in it's modified state like I want it to. After replaceing it though, when it's clicked on, I get a Windows Securtiy message asking me "Run" or "Cancel". Is there a way around that?

I was also thinking about another program with different forms. Say you have 20 forms available and a Client wants 10 of them. You open the original program and save what you need under a new name with only the 10 forms that they want. They get it and later they decide they want 2 more forms. How would you go about updating that without uninstalling and reinstalling?

Make only one version of the program with all screens. Provide some way to configure which screens the user will use.
