Anybody knows that if I issue a command as below:-

Create sql view testview remote connection as testdb as select * from testtable

The above action will create a cursor named testview and take data from the table of testtable.

However, where is testview.db?, it should save in somewhere of local hard disk , but I cannot find ?

Thanks help

Hej !
If i understand this problem ...
Cursor is the temp table but when you close it - it'll disappear.
View isn't the table, it's 'field-glasses' to data. Kind regards from Warsaw !!!!!

A view is not a physical file, but a "way of looking at the data" (although you might find that when you use a view, it creates a temporary file in you system/temp directory). So every time you look at a view in VFP it re-generates the view (re-executes the SQL code). The only place you will see it visually (in design mode) is by modyfing your database (if you added to view to it), or in the project manager. Mike Gagnon
