Hi:

I wonder how to create a setup.exe for my visual basic application. So it can install all the .dll files for my application.

Thank you so much for your helping

Mike

You will need to use the Package and Deployment Wizard that comes with VB. Or you can use any other istallation package such as Visual Studio Installer (free from Microsoft) or Inno Setup (free from or Wise installer, etc.

Thanks and Good Luck!

I notice that you haven't as yet acknowledged most of the answers that you've been given so far, and you haven't marked any of them as being helpful/expert. It's worth reviewing faq222-2244 to get the best from the forum. The faq also shows how to use the search on the forum.

This subject of packaging and deployment has been covered several times recently, try a search on the forum using 'packaging deployment' in the advanced search, 'all words', 'just my forums', 'any date' options and you'll find what you need.
