Create Or Edit a Image 1

I have been searching for a tutorial on how to edit a image, like a GIF or JPEG, does anyone know where i can find a tutorial that shows step by step how to create an image editor?

I'm not sure it's written in Perl, but gTk is the toolkit they came up with when writing the GIMP, which has since been used by other products.

And Nate, if you want to impress upon your bosses just how complex image editors can get, you should check out the GIMP. Especially script-fu...
