Hi, I have 3 columns, Day, Month and Year. What I want to do is to combine the 3 columns into one, and then import the spreadsheet into Access. The problem is that Access won't recognize the combined Date column as a date, it sees it as text. What format should the Day, Month and Year columns be in so that when they are combined, the result is a date. I tried formating them as text, then using the formular A1&"/"&B1&"/C1, I then format the resulting column as a date, but Access still sees it as text.
Thank you,
Michael Kohler

=Date(Year,month,Day)

so in your case it might be

=Date(C2,B2,A2)

Look at the DATE function

[Blue]Blue[/Blue] [Dragon]

If I wasn't Blue, I would just be a Dragon...
