Hi All,
I'm remote and need to dial in and create a new CPND where the last name has an accented e. I seem to remember seeing some characters like that on the console keyboard, but am not sure how to get them when dialed in via hyperterm.

thx.MB

it's not recogmended that you use any non alpha char in the mermail.. back on rls 12 i had a major problem, nortel had me remove all the (. - ') on all the names and reboot, didn't help but it took the call out of nortels que for 4 hours..
i don't see the ' on the keyboard map in my procomm..

Hello I think is not a good idea, please do not use special characters. I had a major problem years ago with a 11C. Regards Rodolfo

I never had any problem with extended alphanumeric caracters, maybe i have been lucky for the moment!!
You will need to use a VT220 or 320 terminal emulation to be able to do it. Hyperterminal doesn't allows it. You will then see the accent on the set display when calling but printing data in LD 95 will change a "é" in "i". Don't care about. I works, for my part...
