create basic windows form to insert data into SQL table

Hi

I've only just started looking at vb.net and I've come from an access background.
I've got a SQL table called tblDecisions.
I want to create a new windows form - populate it with text boxes/datetimepcikers etc and run something, on say the click of a command button, that inserts into the SQL table -what are my best methods/processes for doing this ? any tutorials would be a help also
