I am running XP, but would like to create a Win98 boot disk to have its tools available. I read it could be handy. Is there a way to create a boot disk using only the Win98 installation disk (without installing XP) ?

If you want a boot disk, just go to bootdisk.com and download one of their win98 bootdisks. Its exactly the same to the one created from within Windows 98. and comes in a nice little executable you run on your machine, and makes the floppy.

Nothing easier than that.
