What I'm trying to do is create an button on a form that the user clicks on and it will put their full name in a text box. I have a table set up with the fields Name and Username. I know how I could get it to default to it using dLookup, but I'm hitting a brick wall trying to figure out how to get it work in the Click event.

I figured out one way to do this. I created a hidden text box and made it's default value currentuser() and then used DLookup to get the users full name from a user table. Just posted it in case anyone else was trying to do this.

If your users are networked, you can look up their name on the network. This would save having to maintain the table
