create a package log

hi I run a DTS package mannually and would like to create a package log for it, how do i do that?

Right click on any white space in the DTS Package and click properties from the context menu. There should be a logging tab. Enable the loggins that you wish to use and click OK. Save the package back up to the server.

All execution data will now be logged to either the database or file (or both).
