I know I'm shooting for the stars on this but I am running an NT server with SP6a with Exchange server 5.5, IIS (I don't know the version, whatever comes with NT) and SQL server 7. Every few weeks or so, maybe 3 or 4, the IIS server stops responding. The only way to clear it is to restart the server. There aren't any messages in the Event logs nor can I restart the service because it doesn't respond to the Shutdown command for the Web service. I'm no pro with NT but I can hold my own. Any thought as to what I could try? I hate the fact that I might have to start doing a scheduled restart of the NT servers.
