I know this isn't a cell phone forum but I thought I'd pick your handy brains. I have a Nokia 6102. Nice features fragile as hell.

My smaller, outside display has two cracks in the protective, clear outer smaller display window. My contact ends in a few months and I am going to swith from Cingular to a local provider (Cincinnati Bell) and so I do not want to buy another phone from Cingular. So, my question is, is there a clear adhesive that will not ruin my display and protect it long enough for me to switch carriers?

A little knowledge is dangerous.

You could probably use the plastic film used for PDA's and you can cut one down to the size of your cell phone. Also check somewhere like Craigslist or Ebay and see if someone has an older phone you can switch to for the remainder of your contract.

Check your local electronics store for the PDA film. Good luck!

Cheers
Rob

I will give it a try. Thanks!

You can also check online; there are some people who sell the replacement LCD's for phones pretty reasonable.
