CR11 - Change values of parameter formula dynamically 1

Can anybody show how we can change values of second parameter formula based on first?
I heard it can be done in CR11. I really appreciate your feedback and suggestions?

I went through the article and other information online regarding this, but couldnt find what i am looking for.
Though it was helpful to increase my knowledge, but to accomplish what i am trying to do doesnt look like it is feasible.
I have Start Date and End Date as parameters fields that are not associated to any database fields, but used in record selection as Service Date>Start Date and Service Date < End Date where as Service Date is part of Service Table. Third parameter will be Employees and these employees should be active between Start Date (parameter1) and End Date (Parameter2), the parameter should only displays employees that are active between Start Date and End Date comparing the Active Date in Employee Table.
Service Table has reference to Employee table.
When i run the report, the user enters Start Date, End Date and for Employee the values should be displayed if they are active with in the dates the user entered for Start and End.
Is there a way that i could accomplish this with new Dynamic Cascading Prompts in CR 11 or any other ides on how to do this?

I don't believe this is possible with Crystal XI as-is.
However, consider a 3rd-party tool (see list at:

My DataLink Viewer provides special dynamic & cascading parameter functionality that can easily handle your scenario.
Your main report would have an employee parameter that would link to (by being named as another report) an Employees parameter report. That report, in turn, will have the From & To date parameters.

So do you mind expanding on your response on how i can do this with main and subreports?
For Example, if i have a main report that passes start date and end date to the subreport, can the subreport parameter be based on sql command that executes on main report parameters?
I appreciate your help.
