We have several option 61C pbxs running Succession 3.0. In those pbxs we are still using QPC 720s and QPC414 cards for our T-1s. If we have to reseat a QPC 720 or QPC 414 card the PBX will put out a BSD 206 on the T1s afterwards when MIDS hits LD 45. Only two things clear up the BSD206 errors.
The first is replacing the the T1 cards with an NT5D12 Dual PRI or Initializing the pbx. One other very important note is that we have split the CPUs of our 61Cs into seperate columns for better redundancy. Is anyone using there 61 C in this configuration?

very strange problem, one fourth of my pri/t1 are on qpc 720's on rls 3 with zero hardware related problems. there is no reason you can't make your 61 look more like a 81. the only real limit is the cables and your not moving them miles apart. you would gain dual ce power. supplies, a major plus. i wish the 720's wouldn't work with 10 left i'd love to go the dual pri's with dch daughter boards. just a cleaner overall switch

The 61C works either stacked or split, just make sure to use the correct ribbon cable for alarms. Check in the CEQU to see if the DTIC is programed correctly. This tells the system what loops are lost to the QPC720. One other option I have used is if you have multiple QPC720's and need the slots you can get a seperate network shelf, NT8D35, and just put 720's in it. The shelf doesn't have to be programmed or cabled as a network shelf because the only thing the 720 card get's from the back plane is power. Check to make sure the 414 and 720 are the correct vintage. 414 should be C and the 720 F or better.

Is the 2nd Nwtk Loop on the 414 card for T1 programmed or unequipped? If unequipped - Program a dummy loop on the second port of the QPC414 card, then software disable it.
