Ok here it is,

1200 MHz T-bird Overclocked to 1330 Mhz
512 MB PC2100 DDR Ram
Geforce 2 GTS 32 MB
ASUS A7V266-E W/ RAID
Sound Blaster Audigy

The Question is, which to upgrade first

the CPU to a Athlon XP 2100+
or the Video to a GeForce 4 Xtasy TI 4400/4600

thanks, [evil]

Looks like a gamer box. [bigcheeks]
If it is, I'd up the vid card, for sure. That's where you'll see the biggest performance gain in games.

yeah, its definately a gamers box, i was thinking video too, but obviously they will both help,

thanks, and if anyone did tests or anything that would be aweome

thanks again, [evil]

Your still above any minimum specs on games with that processor. I would do the Video Card, I just installed a NVidia GForce4 AGP 64mb 420, it's a nice card and is under $100.00 US. Mike Brown CCA

Yeh the Vid card sounds like a more reasonable upgrade.... games are still going to run the same if you upgrade the prcessor, it is the vid card that is slowwing down your machine ....... and maybe a better sound card, they also slow your machine down ......

ok cool, but to my knowledge the audigy is the best soundcard you can get, tell me if im wrong [evil]

Depends what you want to do with it!!!
For games etc it's fine, if you're a real recording buff then you can spend upwards of a grand just on the sound card. Gav
A problem with Windows??? Never...

no just games and playing music, no recording or anything like that

does it matter the geforce 4, i was thinking the ti 4400 or ti 4600, either leadtek, visiontek, or abit, are they so close that it doesnt even matter??

Tom's Hardware Guide has a great article on this issue where it compares 11 of the 4400's and 4600's. I choose the LeadTek for the fact that it had an onboard heatsink and 2 cool fans built in. This was important to me as I have had heat problems with other systems. Here is the link to the Guide:
