Hi all (first time blue forum user im a Red Guy Boooooo!!)

I have a request from a customer that they want us to attend site and carry out some maintenance on a CS1ke (7.5) they are asking us to take a spare CPPM card with us , they are quoting a part number of NTDW61BAES which is fine , now in our Lab kit also CS1ke on (7.5) we have a CPPM card part number NTDW99CAE5 i am hoping somebody can confirm that our CPPM card would sit and work in that system with no issue if indeed the current card needs replacing.

This soloution also has x5 CS1kB connected and x3 smg and x4 SRG , the site we are due to attend is the Core , can anybody please advise if any potential issues may occur if my CPPM Lab card is compatible , relating to the remote sites.

Thankyou in advance

The NTDW61 is the old version, your NTDW99 will work fine.

The only difference in the 2 cards is plastic face plate on the 61 versus metal face plate on the 99.

good man cheers[tt][/tt]

Yes, the difference is that the tabs on the 99 go up just a little more so the metal faceplate will ground the card to the MG1010 Chassis. This is what I was told in class. there was an issue keeping the old card grounded in the new equipment. I thought it was a pretty good way to do it.
