I have a call pilot cp100 software 3.1 with a mics 7.1 customer had a power outage now when you call and go to a subscribers mailbox the beep prompt is delayed about 8-9 seconds after the message or name. I did reset the mailbox and made sure after I recorded the greeting I pressed ok. It didn't matter if it was a prime greeting or just the name. Also intermittently the keys for erase would have a long delay when pressed. I did power cycle also it still persist.

May have also been a surge.
Doing a REINSTALL might help to get rid of glitches or replacing the power supply (with 8volts not 9) if it took a hit.

Try upgrading it to the latest build of 3.1 might help too by over writing the software.
31.10.36.22 - Nortels last/best build
31.10.37.22 - Same but with Avaya Name Branding

Upgrade steps are in our FAQ's section.

yes they had a power outage, I figured my next step was to default and hand pack the cp100 I think the software has 3.0 so upgrading to 3.1 might not be a bad idea. I will let you know how it goes

If you had a power outage I'd suspect the power supply is soft.
