Customer wants to cover internal calls to voicemail but have external calls just ring.
Is it possible? Ifso can someone provide an example??

thankyou

Not really.

But you could try this.

Turn vm on for every user. Create a group for every user for everyone that has a DDI and put then in the relevent groups. Turn VM off on the groups and Q'ing on. Change all your DDI's to ring the relavent groups rather than direct to the user extn.

This would only send direct DDI calls to Q on the groups. Transfered external calls would still get to V/M.

To get round this in each users Leave Start Point you could add a Route Incoming Call action. Point the Internal to a Leave Mail action and the External to a transfer to that users group.

Very long winded and a nightmare to maintain and for that reason I would tell the customer "no, not really"!!!!!!

I don't think you can do it excatly how you want, but if you stick a "route by call staus action" in the leave mail action, you might get something close to what you want.

After reading my post again you will probably not need to point the DDI's to the groups. You will still need the groups for the Route By Call Status Action to Q calls for the user.

I should be clearer. Turn VM on for all users. In the default start points, go to leave. Insert an action called route incoming call. On the internal direct it to leave mail and route external. I think you can use $KEY for both but I haven't tested it.
