Hello,

I have a problem with a coverage path that is routing to an attendant.
Between business Hours all the calls are nicely routed to the attendant.
After business hours the attendant is in Night service. This is the Night service on the ldn form. The call from the coverage path does not goes into the night service and keeps ringing on the station.
Does anyone has a solution for this problem?
Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Evert

Evert,

Check the "change console-parameters" if "DID-LDN only to LDN night ext" is set to no.

Hello Brandaris,

"DID-LDN only to LDN night ext" is already set to N. That doesn't make a different.

A stations coverage path will not follow the attendants night service, it will continue to ring like you have found.
If you require it to go somewhere you might try adding a point in the stations coverage path after the attd, you will also need to give the attendant an extension number and use that in the coverage path. What happens is when you send a call to cover at the attd it will get stuck in the que. By giving the attd an ext number and using it instead, it will get station treatment and continue on down the coverage path to the next point.

Are you routing to "attd" on the coverage form or the attendant local? The LDN only gathers up calls that are defined as "attd". Having said that, Bobg1 above is likely correct as well, a call that has covered to attd may not be picked up. Another solution is to establish a hunt group with no members that is non acd, non queueing, & non vector, put the attendant as the coverage path destination & the night local in the nights, then use the hunt group as the coverage point, add a hunt-ns key to the console, & have her press both of them at nights.

Sorry, I made a mistake, You would have to make the attendant a member of the hunt group. The hunt group woudl not need a coverage path, just a night destination.

My reply is too late for ewaaijenberg, but someone will search for the LDN/Night Service issue again soon because it is not a standard fix. My company just got this working for a customer downtown. Here's how it worked:

LDN=4100
Hunt group ext=5553
AudixAutoAtt/Nightservice mailbox=5555

We created a hunt group with no members and assigned it x5553, no other changes to the hunt. Then go to "change List" and change the Night Service Ext to x5553. Forward x5553 to the ext you use to log in to Audix (yes, the main audix number) The forward can be done by temporarily programming a forward button of x5553 on your phone. Touch the button and dial the main Audix number, you'll hear confirmation tone and the button will light. The forward makes audix see your LDN number (4100 in my example)on an incoming call. Then go to your Intuity.
Once there you have two things to do. Build a business schedule (bus1) that says day service runs 24 hours a day; from 12:01AM-11:59PM and then go to auto attendant routing. Make it route on 4100 to bus1 on day and make the night mailbox you destination mailbox (Auto Att 5555 in my example)

Upon pressing the Night Service button on the console, all calls to the LDN 4100 will go to your automated attendant.

Hello,

this isn't what I'm looking for. I've tested this and it doesn't work the way I want.
Anyone else an idea?

Evert

Have you tried time-of-day coverage? This may be a simple solution for you. Let me know if you need help setting this up.
