We link paths together, for example coverage one may have five points and the 6th point is another coverage path such as c2, than coverage path 2 has the rest of our points. Hope this helps
I really need the coverage path to hop from one point to the next. I will be using Send Calls features to speed this process along, but it still needs to go to each point in the line.
I believe you can do a hunt group like that using DDC in the hunt group. With that many cps you could start looping your calls with people zeroing out of voice mail and/or complaints of ring ring ring as it goes through the path. Lets say call 1 doesn't answer, it goes to call 2 and rings another so many times then call 3 rings another 3 or 4 times etc. We had this happen to us on a customer serv. line with cover paths. A hunt group with DDC assigned will allow the call to skip phones 1 and 2 if they are active and then go to 3 without all the extra ringing etc. Just an idea.

tkinney,
The users all have a send calls button on the phone, when they are not in the facility they will be activating there send calls button. this should help to eliminate some of the extra ringing.
You can have your 5 points then on the 6th point put in a VDN (v&ext) and make the first step to a "route to" with cov "y" to an internal extension (x-ported) with a new coverage path that has the rest of the numbers you need. This will work, but you should always run test first.
Actually, I don't think the system will do a double-redirect. Meaning, if you get to the VDN via a cover path, then it won't follow another user's cover path.
Most Definity systems have a "Hunt to" place when u do "change station" xxxxx. U can have the station ring over to the next station, and then have a 'hunt to' the next station. Course it can cause problems if u want the calls to go else where for the intermediate station. The number of cover path points changed with the newer versions of the Definity but I don't remember the number. In the newer versions u can actually change the number of times it will ring on each point, which use to be a system wide setting.
