Hi, CM 5.2

Inbound DID 1000, (unregistered station), with a coverage path set to 1 ring and Coverage Points to station 1122 with 4 rings then then attendant 3 rings then v3000.
At the end of the day from station 1122 they want to push "Send Calls: 1000" and have it go immediately to the attendant.

Thank you for advice.

you could do this though a time of day coverage path that works on a time profile

I'm not sure, they want to just press the button when they go to lunch or at the end of the day on an as-needed basis.

Add a second coverage option to station 1000 which just goes to the attendant.
Create two autodials on station 1122 that dials whatever is necessary on your system to change the coverage option for station 1000. This can either use the remote-access number or if you have a COS with console permissions on ext 1122 it will be able to change 1000's coverage option. Ext 1000 will most likely need a security code setup on it for this.

e.g. (change coverage FAC) 1000# Password# and 2 for coverage option 2

I'm trying to get this to work.
All of the stations and the trunk have a COR that can change coverage, their COS has console permissions, I programmed the coverage paths in 1 and 2. I made a FAC for change coverage access code. I tried this directly from a station by dialing the fac, extension# extension security code# 2 and it either ignores me and I keep hearing dial tone or gives the wave off tone. Also I setup the remote access number (with permissions) and still did not work. The trace error says I was either off hook too long or a denial event. (I'm trying to test this with a softphone so I've also enabled the trunk for these permissions). When I status the station the active coverage stays at 1. I made sure this feature was set to Y in Customer Options. Please let me know what you think I could be missing. Thank you!

you can also make 1000 a HG, put in a night service destination and put a 'hunt-ns x' button on the 1122 set. Like simulating the attendant consoles/night service. We use that for our receptionists who we moved from attd consoles to IP phones/call center agents.
