based off the feature reference guide calls that come into a phone on a coverage button will not be forwarded.
"Calls received on any type of Cover button are not forwarded.
If a coverage receiver has activated any type of Remote Call Forwarding,
calls sent to that extension by Coverage are not forwarded to the remote
location."
Is there any work around for this? I have a location where the calls to the main number will ring to an auto attendant. If the caller does not press anything or dials 0 it will go to adjunct or phantom extn 7300 which is covered on 3 stations. The site wants to be able to forward these calls to another extn or an outside number when all 3 ppl are not available, i.e. in a meeting.
One thing that has me confused on the excerpt from the reference guide is that one of the users is actually covering another extn for her DID. She claims that when someone calls her DID, which there is no actual phone at, it will forward. How is this possible?
