I am using several vb apps that accesses an .mdb. all of a sudden(after installing a 100meg switch) i am starting to get an error like: Couldn't lock file. I haven't made any code changes lately. I looked around on the net and it seems like something doesn't have permission to access the .mdb. any ideas on what is causing this error??? thanks.

Does the switch have a security setup that limits the range of files or folders/drives that can be accessed.
