Hello all, I'm just getting familiar with MS Exchange 2003 and was wondering if you guys of a way to customize the error find out a more specific reason why an email was/is not sent

I recently send an email to a client that claims she's not getting email and when I ran a test I got this error:

[error]
Could not deliver the message in the time limit specified. Please retry or contact your administrator.
[/error]

I guess my question is: How can I really find out what the problem is/was???? was it on our end or their?

Thanks in advanced.

It could be the targeted server was down.
It could be your time-outs are to small..

Check Eventlogs and also the queue and enumerate, it gives you more information on that message.

If 'something' 'somewhere' gives 'some' error, expect random guesses or no replies at all.
