I have an Access 97 database that i need to repair.

There exists forms that simply do not open when clicked on or when i try to open or design. The screen simply flickers!..

An error occurs for example if i were to run a macro to open the form. It would say that it doesn't exist or is misspelled when it does exist!!

Trying to import into another database simply gives me an automation error.

Trying to convert to a MS Access 2000 db simply doesn't include these forms at all!..

I have no idea what to try next?

Sounds like its corrupted. Make a backup copy of database then try the following.
Open the Run box and enter: 'msaccess, exe /decompile C:\yourpath\nameofdatabase.mdb'. Of course you’d use the correct path and name.
For more info, see Search for ‘Repair’.
