Does anyone have a flow chart showing the call flow and how all of these areas come into play? Or point me to a website that explains all of this?

I simply cannot think today, must be too much eggnog.

Thanks everyone!

not sure what you need, but here is verbal call flow. outbound call initiated:

outbound phone's COR checks partition route, ARS..etc

partition route checks which route pattern to use, depending on outbound phones time of day chart.

route pattern checks outbound phones COR if it has a high enough FRL to send or block call.

hope that helps

I have no technical solution to your management problem

User dials 9,#
COR checked to ensure restriction for outbound isn't set.
Then ARS is selected based upon # dialed.
Match found in ARS, routed to correct Route pattern either via router pattern entered in ARS table, or routed to partition route table, then sent to approiate route pattern based upon Time of day.
FRL in route pattern is checked against station COR FRL.
Routed to trunk, COR of trunk checked against COR of station.
Call connected.

Thanks! When does the COS come into play?

If you look at the optoins in COS, it's not so much as restricting outbound calls, but more of features. The COS check I believe comes in to play initially to ensure the features you're trying to do are enabled.

I believe that 'ARS Digit Conversion' is checked before AAR or ARS is checked.
