Copying to FD restarts PC

Hello to you all!
I'm new on this forum and I allready have a major problem. Every time I want to copy something on my FD my computer restarts. There is no problem reading or copying from FD on PC. I'm using Windows 2000 Professional operating system. Can somebody help me!!!
