Copying Media from Database to media pool 1

Hi, I have just been given the job of doing the backups using Arcserve as the Guy that was doing it has left. As usual I have no experince with Arcserve at all and have read the small manual that came with it but I am getting the following problem.

The Backups are running OK however the media does not show in the media pool under save set, I can see the media by viewing the database, is it possible to copy the "media" to the "media pool"

Tapes can not be copied from the Database to a Media Pool.

Try the online help, it is usually more help than the manual.

Are media pools even being used?
There are three types of jobs Custom, Rotation, & GFS.
GFS always uses media pools
Rotation and Custom may or may not depending on the version.

Thanks for the reply, It was using GFS I figured it out now I just needed to assign the media ??
