I've got an NT 4 network with several new XP machines attached. The policy editor for NT doesn't help me much with XP (unless I'm missing something), but I found Group Policies. Is there a way I can configure one machine just the way I want it, then copy the policy to each XP machine in the building?

I think moving to 2k3 might solve a lot of headaches down the road here...

Hi t3chnician,

You normally create the ntconfig.pol file in the NETLOGON share of the your domian controller. These policies may not be entirely compatible with Windows XP, but I would expect the core fo them to work... more info:

Hope this helps,

Thanks, I'll try working with that!
