I use the Citrix Client at home to connect to my network at work. It gives me a desktop with Explorer etc. and I can access out network drives. I can open files, but cannot copy them to my home PC. Is this supposed to be like this? How can I copy a file I created on the network drive to my home PC? As you might have guessed, I am new to the Citrix world. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Yowza

When Client drive mapping is enabled in your enviorment then you local drives are available in your citrix session as some sort of Network drive....

That way you can copy file to you local machine..

When you don´t see your client drives it can be that client drive mappings are disabled or that the client drives have not been mapped....

Ask your citrix administrator (or when you are the admin the person who installed the servers)....

Hi,

Can you see your PC drives, they will be either C: (if you've remapped your server system drives) or V:/U:

If you can see them but can't access them, you need to alter your Client Security settings, to do this, press CTRL+F2 to put your desktop into Windowed Mode, then click on the left Menu icon and choose Client Security Settings and alter them to Full Access/Never ask me again for any application.

Cheers,
Carl
