copy batch file

hey guys, I'm trying to come up with a batch file that will copy a folder (including all subfolders and files within the folder) to a mapped network drive (C:/ to Z:/). Can anyone help me with the syntax?

try this..

xcopy c:\"my documents"\*.* z:\"my documents"\ /s /e /y

i used my documents as an example

 

[aquias]

xcopy c:\(directory)\*.* z:\(directory) /h /e /k /a

The above line will copy all files and subdirectories to your destination. The switches (and more switches to add) can be found here.
