Copy and paste problem

If I copy some text from a web page, load Word and paste it I get a stupid little icon, like a 4 button calculator, but no text. If I then copy and paste it again then it all works OK. It's driving me mad!! I'm using Word 2002 SP2 and W2K SP1. Any ideas?

Thats it alright. To cut a long story short, Word clears the Clipboard when it starts. Microsoft's anawer "To resolve this issue, open Word 2000 before you copy an object to the clipboard."

And we let then write server software?????
