I want to specify english coordinates through the keyboard (did it long time ago but forgot how)

example: line from 3 1/8 to 6 3/16

What is the separator between the the whole number and the fraction? S. van Els

This is done with the -
3-1/8, 6-3/16 or with feet 5'2-3/4
