Converting VPN phone back to Regular ip phone? 1

Hello all,
I got my phone to work as a regular ip phone,but it still loads the VPN software.

I did a reset and a clear and 0 out the group 876# option.
Is it once a VPN always a VPN?
Any Suggestions.

I finally decided to read the manual and got the phone converted back using option 678# etc.

A better way is to change VPN start Up mode to "On Demand". The phone will boot up as a normal IP phone, but if you select Options you can choose to start the VPN. useful if the customer wants to have the same phone brought around with him.
